Lee — The town is looking a bit more colorful these days after artist Cheyenne Renee added a mural to Main Street. The Covington, Va. native founded the 50in50 Project in the fall of 2021, with her goal being to paint one mural in a small town within each state by the end of 2025. GoFundMe started for family of child who died at Benedict Pond

The Pittsfield police force has launched a pilot program that allows officers and a mental health clinician to respond more quickly to calls. The Joint Response Team, made up of two plain clothes officers and a mental health professional, travel together to a scene. Outside of the pilot program, clinicians travel in a separate car.
