In the quiet hours of July 4th, the Kingston Police Department was summoned to the First Parish Unitarian Church on Main Street following reports of vandalism and arson. According to a statement released by the department, they found considerable damage inflicted overnight. Handcrafted 200-year-old shutters were torn apart, antique windows were shattered, and the church's interior bore the hostilities of fire extinguisher discharge. More disturbing, perhaps, are the "Pride" and "Black Lives Matter" flags found burned, suggesting targeted malice.

Firehouse breakfast to relocate after decades
LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — One building along Route 415 in Lehman Township has been home to the Idetown Fire Department breakfasts for the last 65 years. "This is a very important fundraiser for us. We do it once a month, the first Sunday of every month. It brings in a good amount of people. We see a lot of the community," said Gerry Walker, Idetown Fire Department Vice President.
