    Man wanted by PSP in Lehman Township attempted homicide

    LEHMAN TOWNSHIP, PIKE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) are looking for a man they consider armed and dangerous after an attempted homicide in Lehman Township.

    In a release sent out on Sunday, troopers say the Troop R Blooming Gove Station is actively investigating the attempted homicide of 22-year-old Derrel Ambrose from Tobyhanna who received multiple gunshot wounds along Mallard Lane in the Pocono Ranchlands Private Community in Lehman Township, Pike County.

    Court documents say the incident happened on Saturday, July 27.

    PSP: Shots fired at Stroud Township road rage incident

    Ambrose was taken to Lehigh Valley Pocono Hospital where he had emergency surgery for the multiple gunshot injuries, authorities say.

    State police say the shooter was identified as 19-year-old Isiah Amahziah St. Prix from Bushkill and has an arrest warrant out for St. Prix for multiple charges, including aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, and attempted homicide.

    St. Prix is considered by authorities to be armed and dangerous and if anyone has information on where to find St. Prix is asked to call the PSP Blooming Grove Station at (570)226- 5718.
