Waverly approves container moratorium, mulls camping ban
WAVERLY — During their monthly workshop meeting on Tuesday, the Waverly Board of Trustees approved a moratorium on shipping containers being set up in the village. Trustees passed the moratorium unanimously after discussing the issue last month, when Code Enforcement Officer Chris Robinson explained that shipping containers had begun popping up throughout the municipality as de facto structures without the proper building permits.
Paul Quinn receives $20 million from anonymous donor, largest gift in college’s history
DALLAS — Paul Quinn College received a $20 million gift, the largest in the school’s 152-year history, officials announced Thursday.
