The Dallas Police Department has lost one of its own. Officer Thomas Lee Harris, a member of the force, was recently commemorated on the department’s official social media channels. The tribute post, which simply read "Roll Call of Honor - Officer Thomas Lee Harris #GoneButNotForgotten #DallasPD," was accompanied by an image honoring the fallen officer. The somber announcement, made by the Dallas Police Department last Saturday, reminds us that the safety our officers provide sometimes comes at the ultimate cost.

HANOVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A popular Italian restaurant in Hanover Township, Northampton County, is closed indefinitely after a Sunday morning fire.
