Traffic light upgrades at intersections in Exeter and West Reading get state funding
Traffic signal projects at eight intersections in Berks County have received state grant funding. Gov. Josh Shapiro’s administration announced Wednesday that a total of 73 municipalities across Pennsylvania will receive a total of $30 million in grant funding through the department of transportation’s “Green Light-Go” program. The program aims to improve safety and mobility in communities by relieving congestion and improving traffic flow.
Hazle Twp. firefighter charged with shooting at trespassing teens

There is a vast array of accessories, home decor and seasonal items, and a small selection of children’s gifts. There are handbags designed by Lilly Pulitzer and Kate Spade. The shop specializes in plush toy brand from the UK called Jellycat. It also offers something called “Blind Date with a Book,” in which the customer receives a wrapped book without knowledge of its title or author but rather the genre.
