Dash cam catches big rig rear-ending car, sending it flying into woods
Dash cam video shows a major crash involving a big rig that occurred on a Pennsylvania interstate last week. The crash occurred on July 19 at 7:15 p.m. on I-380 near Dunmore. In the video, you can see a box truck followed by a white sedan traveling at slower speeds in the right lane of I-380 with hazard lights activated. A red Mazda Miata driven by Patrick Ryder and a second white sedan both attempt to move left to avoid the slower vehicles. However, before the Miata can move over, it is hit from the rear by a semi truck, causing the car to veer left across the interstate into a wooded area.
