Streator Police Promoting Safe Environment Ahead Of Streator Fest
It's pretty safe to say that measures are being taken to make Streator Fest a safe event. The Streator Police Department posted a message on their Facebook page Wednesday saying they will be assisted by the Illinois State Police, La Salle County Sheriff's Office and the Livingston County Sheriff's Office over the next four days of Streator Fest. A separate post on Wednesday provided a reminder that all bags brought to the festival will be searched or checked out by a security wand. Signage is also posted at Northpoint Plaza that no weapons are allowed into the festival.
