La Salle Man Sentenced To Prison For Vehicle Burglaries
Admitting to breaking into vehicles near the Illinois Veterans Home in La Salle has a La Salle man headed to prison. Twenty-eight-year-old Jamie Christman was given 6 years in prison Thursday. He was sentenced after pleading guilty to three felony counts of burglary. Christman admitted to burglarizing vehicles near the veterans home in La Salle last May.

"Severe Injuries" Reported In Two-Vehicle Crash Outside Streator
A Life Flight helicopter was asked to land at OSF in Streator after a two-vehicle crash occurred Thursday morning just west of town. At around 10:30, first responders were called to Route 18 near East 15th Road, otherwise known as Kangley Road, for a crash with “severe injuries”.
