AURORA, Ill. - The North Face will open an outlet store at Aurora's Chicago Premium Outlets in late October. The location will be the first outlet in Illinois. Gurnee, IL – Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies saved a man attempting self-harm in unincorporated Gurnee late Wednesday. According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a 911 call from the man’s wife around 10:30 p.m. The man, experiencing mental distress, had locked himself in a detached garage and threatened to hang himself.
