Community meeting set for proposed mixed-use development in Castle Hayne
CASTLE HAYNE, N.C. (WECT) - A community meeting is set for Tuesday, July 30, regarding a proposed rezoning at 27.55 acres near the intersection of Castle Hayne Road and I-140. The proposal would rezone the area for a mixed-use development, changing it from Residential (R-20) zoning to Planned Development (PD) zoning. The proposal would include a request to remove the property from the Special Highway Overlay District. It is referred to as the Moore’s Crossing Master Planned Development in the sute map from engineers.
