San Diego County leaders consider Lemon Grove as possible site for 'sleeping cabins'
LEMON GROVE, Calif. — County leaders are looking at Lemon Grove as a possible site for dozens of sleeping cabins to house unsheltered people. The proposal for 60 sleeping cabins for the unsheltered in Lemon Grove comes after a similar proposal was shot down recently in Spring Valley, where residents had concerns over its proximity to schools, homes and parks.

Little Change to Average San Diego County Gas Price
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped one-tenth of a cent Thursday for the second consecutive day to $4.823. The average price is 1.7 cents less than one week ago, 17.3 cents lower than one month ago and 7.3 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.612 since rising to a record $6.435 on Oct. 5, 2022.
