Man severely hurt after falling from top of Birmingham parking garage
An 18-year-old West Bloomfield man was severely injured after falling from the top of a Birmingham parking structure Friday, police said. Officers were called at about 6:20 p.m. Friday to the parking structure located at 333 Park Street near Woodward Avenue and Oakland Avenue for a report of a man who fell from the building's highest level, they said.

A Southfield woman accused of killing her friend’s young child in Detroit has been found to be competent to stand trial, according to a recent competency evaluation. Iesha Harris, 30, faces charges of felony murder and first-degree child abuse in connection with the death of 3-year-old Harmoni Henderson. It’s alleged Harris fatally assaulted the child while babysitting her at a home in the 15700 block of Southfield Road.
