JetBlue Ends Charlotte-Boston Flights to Focus on New Markets
JetBlue has announced that it will no longer operate flights from Charlotte Douglas International Airport to Boston Logan International Airport. The Charlotte Business Journal reported, this decision is part of the airline’s strategy to reallocate resources and focus on expanding its presence in other markets. Consequently, JetBlue will have no flights out of Charlotte and will cease operations at the airport entirely.
Jamestown Airport Awarded Grant For Fire Suppressant Testing Equipment
The Jamestown Airport has been awarded a grant to acquire fire suppressant testing equipment. Congressman Nick Langworthy the airport will receive $23,243 as part of the FY24 Airport Improvement Program (AIP) under the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This grant will fund the acquisition of Aqueous Film Forming Foam (fire suppressant) input-based testing equipment.
Secret Gift Shop in the Woods
Go on an artsy adventure to this secret gift shop. There is a very cool and artsy gift shop in the Southern Tier that sort of flies under the radar. The store isn’t located in the fun shopping destinations of Ellicottville or Chautauqua Lake, where you might expect to find a unique store.
