On July 1, 2024, GoPowercat went behind the scenes with five-star tight end Linkon Cure in his hometown of Goodland, Kansas. Watch the build-up to his commitment ceremony, ultimately becoming the most highly-rated Wildcat pledge in Kansas State history. GoPowercat's Ryan Wallace, along with former GPC videographer Zac Carlson, was in Goodland when the day of the decision started. Kaelen Culpepper achieved a Kansas State baseball first during last week's 2024 Major League Baseball Draft, and so did the Wildcats as a team. Culpepper, the Wildcats' junior shortstop, became the school's first-ever position player to be selected in the first round when he went to the Minnesota Twins with the No. 21 overall pick. The only previous K-State first-rounder was current Major League pitcher Jordan Wicks, who also went at No. 21, to the Chicago Cubs in 2021.

A class of 2026 recruit has scheduled a visit to Nebraska next weekend. JJ Dunnigan is a 6-foot-2 defensive back from Manhattan High School in Manhattan, KS.
