Many make the mistake of thinking that it’s too late in life to make a difference in the world, but 70-year-old Gary Salathe found his passion—and reconnected with his parents’ passion—when he began the Louisiana Iris Conservation Initiative in 2020. By working to save the famed Louisiana iris, he’s not only bringing awareness to the threatened species and preserving an important piece of regional horticulture, but also working to help protect and conserve the Louisiana wetlands.

Marsden Services Acquires HUB Enterprises in Broussard
ST PAUL, MN (July 25, 2024) – Marsden Services L.L.C., a national facility services provider, announced today the acquisition of HUB Enterprises through Marsden’s wholly owned subsidiary company, American Security, L.L.C. HUB Enterprises is a security services contractor operating throughout Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and Texas. The acquisition was completed in March 2024. American Security L.L.C. is a national security services contractor headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota. HUB Enterprises is headquartered in Broussard, Louisiana with a secondary office location in Mississippi. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
