Tomlinson turns in terrific performance
Tyler Tomlinson, a rising sophomore track and cross country runner from Central Bucks East, recently competed in the New Balance National Outdoor meet, an event showcasing the nation’s top high school track and field athletes as they conclude their spring season. Tomlinson, known as the “PA Hometown Favorite,” raced in the freshman 1-mile event at the New Balance Nationals at Franklin Field in Philadelphia. Lenape Valley Foundation Golf Outing raises $66,500
Lenape Valley Foundation hosted its 15th annual Golf Outing on June 17, at Doylestown Country Club. The event, co-chaired by LVF board members Robert Marchand and Joseph Nolan, attracted 131 golfers and raised more than $66,500. Proceeds from this year’s event will support the opening of the Bright Path Center, a new behavioral health crisis center in Doylestown that will greatly improve the environment and quality of care for children, adults and families who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis. The center’s groundbreaking took place in May and it is scheduled to open in 2025.
