Lewes Senior Center to offer Nassau School presentation

LEWES — The Nassau School Coalition, comprised of the Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice, the Greater Lewes Foundation and the Delaware Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs scheduled an open house to learn about the ongoing renovations and research on Thurs., July 25 from 3-6 p.m. at the Lewes Senior Center, 32083 Janice Road.

At the open house, the coalition will share future plans for the building and its operation with the community and seek public input. In addition, the community can learn about the ongoing improvements made to the school’s physical structure and plans to conduct research about the history of Belltown and the experiences of students and teachers at the Nassau School.

The Nassau School Coalition invites the community to learn more about the progress being made at the historic site.
