    MOT Majors All Stars advance to Mid Atlantic Regional

    MOT Little League Majors Division District All Stars defeated Naamans to win the state championship. Naamans lost their first game to Lewes and came into the game with one loss in order to capture the state championship had to beat MOT twice, but MOT never gave them that chance.

    MOT’s starting pitcher Bill Windley dominated the game on the mound, throwing the best game of the tournament to help his team capture the state championship and advance to the Eastern Regional. Windley threw a complete game three hitter striking out ten batters while only walking one batter in six innings.

    Billy not only did it with his arm, but with the bat also. He was responsible for two of the three MOT runs. He went 1-2 at the plate with two runs batted in. Dawson Soldo led MOT going 3-3 at the plate and scored a run. Kyle Bailey and Jonah Coker each added a hit and scored a run in the game.

    MOT now advances to the Little League Baseball Mid Atlantic Regional tournament with the 3-0 win. They will travel to play in Bristol, Connecticut with a chance to play in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

    MOT is set to play their first game August 4th at 10am against Maryland. The games will be live to watch on ESPN+ and you can also follow live stats on Gamechanger. Best of luck to the MOT All Stars we will be cheering for them throughout the tournament.
