THCM to host 10th annual Train Day
TERRE HAUTE - The Terre Haute Children's Museum welcomes families to come aboard its 10th Annual Train Day Saturday. The event runs from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Cintrak Model Railroad Club and several individuals will have train layouts on display at the Museum. The Wabash Valley Railroaders Museum and the National Model Railroad Association will also be on-hand to share information about their organizations. Layouts will include model trains of various sizes with detailed scenery, realistic figures and elaborate structures.
Immersive Musical Garden of The Center for Courageous Kids Celebrates Opening
In January of this year, the Center for Courageous Kids (CCK) announced that they were adding an immersive musical experience to everything else they offer campers facing unique circumstances. This was going to include rhythm instruments that, when struck, would create various tones and sounds. The instruments are themselves designed in such a way that there is no barrier, regardless of the situation a camper is in.
