Essex Junction, VT — The workers at the Starbucks Essex store joined Starbucks Workers United with a 16 to 6 person vote on Monday night. The Essex partners will join a growing nationwide movement of 10,500 baristas at 460 Starbucks locations working together to bring justice to the workplace.

At Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport, early-morning flights were delayed for hours as United, American Airlines, and Delta repaired their systems. BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - A South Burlington man who was out on probation for a shooting in 2021 is back behind bars. Police in Burlington say Bonide Badibanga, 22, is one of multiple suspects who robbed and assaulted two people on Main Street in Burlington at about 3 a.m. Friday.

Man arrested following domestic violence shooting in Richmond, Vermont
RICHMOND, Vt. — A man was arrested on Friday afternoon at a home in Richmond after a shooting led to an hours-long standoff with police. Vermont State Police arrested 23-year-old Dylan Davis at 2:15 p.m. after an incident on Meadow Lane. Police said Davis is now facing charges of aggravated domestic assault with a deadly weapon, domestic assault and reckless endangerment.
