    WSU soccer edges past Idaho to win 14th straight Battle of the Palouse

    PULLMAN — In the 15th all-time meeting between the Washington State and Idaho women’s soccer programs, the Cougars won their 14th straight Battle of the Palouse 2-1 on Sunday at the Lower Soccer Field.

    Wazzu’s offense flowed all 90 minutes as it launched 24 shots (half of which were on goal) and scored twice. Idaho’s redshirt freshman goalkeeper Paula Flores made 10 saves as the Vandals made things interesting in the second half.
