Lexington Burger Week 2024: $7 burger menu has classics to ice cream (and one shot)

Lexington Burger Week returns for its 10th year of unique twists on America’s signature food.
A production of Smiley Pete Publishing , this year’s dining event will be July 8-14 and include more than 35 participating restaurants.

The week will focus on celebrating local restaurants and their most inventive burgers yet, according to Amy Eddie, director of events for Smiley Pete.
“The creativity and innovation from our local restaurants and chefs have reached new heights, making this the best burger lineup in our ten-year history,” Eddie said in a news release.
Burgers on the menu include traditional favorites as well as breakfast and ice cream burgers and even one that’s a shot.
“We have several newcomers this year. Bad Wolf Burgers will offer a Cajun seasoned patty with bacon, house-crafted beer cheese, and fried onion straws. L8Nite, located in the ESports building on UK’s campus, will offer 2 off-menu burgers until 2 a.m., and last year’s winner, NuHealth Kitchen located inside United Motorsports, is offering a burger topped with a rich spinach and artichoke dip, applewood smoked bacon, pickled red onions and lemon aioli,” Eddie said.
Each of the participating restaurants will feature a special off-menu burger at a price of $7.
Serious burger lovers can download the Lexington Burger Week App & Passport to check in at the restaurant, collect stamps and be entered for a chance to win prizes like Lex Live movie tickets, an outdoor grill package from the Kentucky Beef Council or burgers for a year from Harry’s and Drake’s.

The Reubenator , The Barn Door Grill and Bar, 4561 Iron Works Pike: Their spin on the Reuben, with an 8-ounce ground beef patty topped with Swiss, caramelized onions, sauerkraut, corned beef and Thousand Island dressing on a brioche roll.
Ain’t No Thing But A Smoked Chicken Wing , Bear & The Butcher , 815 Euclid Ave.: American cheese, Buffalo ranch, lettuce, tomato, onion and house pickles on a potato bun with a smoked jumbo chicken wing.
Mama Mia, Big City Pizza , 2312 Sir Barton Way Suite #110: Topped with pepperoni, house-made marinara and mozzarella cheese on a garlic butter Parmesan-sprinkled bun. (Pro tip: Add crushed red pepper to your bun!)
Fresco Burger, Bru Burger , 3010 Lakecrest Circle : Brioche bun with roasted corn chorizo relish (made with chorizo, roasted corn, red peppers, onions, salt and pepper), creamy jalapeno sauce and crumbled queso fresco.

All-American Burger , Charlie Brown’s , 816 Euclid Ave.: A true classic 5-ounce all-beef patty with shredded lettuce, American cheese, mayo and red relish.
CCI Cheeseburger Shot, Chevy Chase Inn , 833 Euclid Ave.: A shot of rot gut tequila, a shot of tomato juice and finish with pickle juice. Put it all together and it tastes just like America’s most popular cheeseburger!
