Kentucky Contacts 2026 Top 10 Prospect

Add a new name to Kentucky's recruiting board in the class of 2026. According to KSR's Jacob Polacheck , the Kentucky staff has expressed interest in a top 10 forward in 2026, Alex Constanza. Kentucky was one of the schools to reach out once the direct contact period began back on June 15.

The Wildcats have maintained "consistent contact" with Constanza since the contact period began, his father told Polacheck in an interview, but right now they're only in the beginning stages with each other, continuing to build a relationship. Constanza's father also recently spoke with Athlon Sports, diving into Alex's contact with the staff, his thoughts on them, and programs involved at the moment.

"They reached out on June 15th and introduced themselves, expressed interest in him as a big guard, and discussed Kentucky and its rich history, especially as a basketball dynasty," Constanza said. He then talked about what he has seen from the new Kentucky staff. "The staff appears to be high energy and focused on continuing the winning tradition at Kentucky and that is phenomenal," he said. "Coach Pope has a vibrant energy to him and appears to be contagious. He definitely is a players coach and that will allow him to build a bond with his staff and players to get the most out of them because there will be trust. I feel he definitely exhibits a high level of professionalism as well. Alex loves the vibe."

In terms of those involved the most in his recruitment, Constanza's father says Miami, Florida State, Florida Atlantic, Arkansas, Syracuse, Purdue, Baylor, and Tennessee are among those in contact with the five-star forward the most right now, continuing to build a relationship with the Kentucky staff.
