RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCT) — Schmard Jeter of Lexington tried his luck on a $5 scratch-off and won a $200,000 top prize.

Jeter bought his lucky Pot of Gold ticket from the Grab And Go on West Center Street in Lexington. He arrived at lottery headquarters on June 20 to claim his prize and, after required state and federal tax withholdings, took home $131,430.

The Pot of Gold game debuted in December with four $200,000 top prizes. One $200,000 prize remains to be claimed.
