    Midlands

    Lexington Medical Center Graduate Medical Education Building II

    Project description: In this public/private partnership, the University of South Carolina is partnering with Lexington Medical Center to expand its School of Nursing programs. This is the second graduate medical education building on Lexington Medical Center’s West Columbia campus, the first of which opened in 2023. The three-story 52,000-square-foot facility will accommodate 800 students with a variety of educational spaces, including simulation labs, mock clinical spaces, and oversized classrooms.

    Project description: Full historic restoration to the Maxcy Gregg House, circa 1841 and on the National Register. The approximately 5,500-square-feet building sits on .35 acres and includes a carriage house, all for Class A offices. The project encompasses restoring heart pine floors and original plaster walls, high ceilings with molding, wavy glass windows throughout, renovated kitchenettes, all new plumbing and HVAC systems, new code compliant stairs in the rear plus an ADA ramp, and original porch, patio and balcony restoration.

The building is immediately adjacent to Pregis, which offers packaging design and printing services. Other corporate neighbors include First Quality Tissue, Pickens Railway Co., Michelin Starr Manufacturing and Electrolux.

    Project description: Meyn America, a leading producer of poultry processing equipment, has chosen South Carolina as the location for its new distribution center. The 76,281-square-foot two-story facility will accommodate warehouse space and offices. The project is seeking Green Globes certification.

    Pinestone’s commercial development will include neighborhood retail and office uses, including medical, to support the residents of the community and the surrounding area. The commercial spaces include three commercial buildings totaling 77,000 square feet fronting U.S. Highway 25 and two reconditioned warehouses totaling 44,000 square feet. Overall neighborhood development includes 250 apartment units, 102 single-family and townhomes all of which are occupied or under construction.


    Lowcountry

    Crowfield Golf Course Pavilion and Clubhouse Renovations

    Project description: This project entails construction of a new outdoor pavilion, putting green, interior renovations to existing clubhouse and new commercial kitchen upgrades.

    Project description: Upfit of 2,942 square feet on the first floor of The Morris office building. The work includes the interior buildout of an empty shell space to include new walls, ceilings, finishes, furniture, mechanical, electrical and plumbing.

    Project description: This multifamily project includes four buildings surrounding a central pedestrian space. The exterior is a mix of brick and cementitious siding. The 48 units are partially funded by South Carolina Housing and bring a multifamily option to the area.

    Project description: Phase 2A and 2B of the West Ashley improvements project will extend from Playground Road to Highway 61, including improvements to box culverts, channels and secondary systems. These improvements will provide flood relief to the Forest Acres and 5th Avenue drainage basins in West Ashley, which were previously serviced by an undersized pump station.
