Round Rock holds Fourth of July festivities weeks after a mass shooting at Old Settlers Park
ROUND ROCK, Texas — Round Rock held its Fourth of July celebration at Old Settler's Park on Thursday. The celebration comes weeks after the mass shooting at a Juneteenth festival at the same park that claimed the lives of two women and injured 14 others. During the celebration, safety was at the front of the minds of law enforcement.
OSP reports injury crash on I-84
UMATILLA COUNTY – The Oregon State Police reports that a crash Monday night on Interstate 84 at milepost 223 injured two Texans. A commercial motor vehicle driven by Amanj Abdulla of Richmond, Texas sideswiped an over-heated pickup truck with a trailer that was parked on the shoulder of the freeway. The CMV then crashed through the guardrail and rolled down an embankment.
