Spokane Fire Department battles multiple fires during record heat
SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Fire Department (SFD) and Spokane County Fire District 9 responded to several fires last week during the record-setting heat. According to SFD, on July 18 around 5:30 p.m., firefighters received multiple calls about a house fire in the area of North Majorie Street in the Pacific Park neighborhood. Upon arrival, firefighters found a large garage fire at a three-story home. The fire had also spread to a car parked in the driveway.
