DAYTON MAN HOSPITALIZED AFTER HORSE-DRAWN BUGGY REAR-ENDED
A Dayton man was hospitalized after his horse-drawn buggy was rear-ended by a pickup truck in West Mahoning Township, Indiana County. The accident occurred on August 13, when 68-year-old David L. Patterson’s pickup collided with 56-year-old Elmer M. Hostetler’s buggy on Dayton Smicksburg Road. Hostetler was taken to the hospital for possible injuries, while Patterson was unharmed. Local fire departments assisted at the scene.

CLAY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State Police in Butler have charged two women for allegedly abandoning six dogs in a vacant house in Clay Township. According to court documents, Butler-based State Police filed criminal charges against 31-year-old Tiara Mercedes Dunkle and 52-year-old Heidi Sue Dunkle, both of Kittanning, in Magisterial District Judge Lewis E. Stoughton’s office on August 14.
