Folsom River District Plan draft released for public review
River District Citizens Advisory Committee to discuss the proposed plan at Aug. 26 meeting. The City of Folsom has released a draft of the Folsom River District Master Plan and is seeking feedback from the community. The plan, prepared by RRM Design Group in collaboration with Ascent Environmental, Inc., aims to revitalize the area along the American River, reconnecting the community with this historically significant and scenic waterway. The plan is designed to align with the city’s General Plan, which calls for “activating Folsom’s expansive waterfront for improved access, recreation, and economic development.”
