Fire extinguished on 27th Street in Sacramento
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A fire was extinguished Monday afternoon at 27th and E streets in Sacramento, officials said. Fire crews were dispatched around 12:22 p.m. to a property along the border of the Boulevard Park and New Era Park neighborhoods. The fire began on a fence and spread into a nearby building, the Sacramento Fire Department said.

Sacramento Police Seek Suspects in Fatal Shooting at 20th and O Street, Community Urged to Provide Information
Early Saturday in Sacramento, a fatal shooting occurred near the intersection of 20th and O Street, leaving one man dead and another injured.
