Toledo Police Department searching for ‘masked man with a machete’

The Toledo Police Department released screenshots from a Ring Home Doorbell video on Monday that showed a masked figure brandishing a machete on a local resident’s doorstep. The TPD received two calls, both on Sunday the 21st, reporting sightings of the masked machete man. The first was at 1:16 a.m., and the second at 11:07 p.m. One report was of the masked man on the local’s doorstep ringing the doorbell, which had been captured by the Ring doorbell camera. The other report was of the masked man riding a skateboard and pointing his machete at a vehicle as it passed. The investigation is ongoing, and the suspect is reportedly close to being identified.
