Nebraska coach Matt Rhule and his staff will host several offered prospects this weekend as they push for another Top 25 recruiting class.

The Huskers currently hold 17 commits and sit at No. 27 in the standings .

On3 gives the latest heading into a big weekend.

Staying in the mix for On3 Industry four-star

A prospect that would give the program another boost is Lee’s Summit (Mo.) North On3 Industry four-star Isaiah Mozee . The 6-foot, 190-pound Mozee has been a verbal to Oregon since April but took an official to Lincoln in June and now returns to campus again here at the end of July.

Mozee’s father Jamar joined the staff this month as a senior football assistant after previously taking a position at UCF. The elder Mozee was his son’s head coach the first three seasons of his prep career.

Nebraska has always been in the mix for Mozee.

“They’re hard working, the coaches, are very transparent, very real, what you see is what you get,” Mozee has said in the past. “You don’t get certain recruiting pitches. It’s you want to be here or you don’t and I like that. And they’re rebuilding it. It’s a chance to get in the program and make your mark. The fans, even the little things, we went to the basketball game and even if they’re good or bad the fans pop out to everything. The support you have in the city of Lincoln was crazy.”

Before joining the program, the elder Mozee has always spoken highly of Nebraska as well.

“Coach Rhule has been very consistent every time we come. Getting to sit and talk with him was very good. Very genuine person and I think it trickled down through his staff. Real good people across the board. And you can tell where they’re trying to go. There is definitely a vision there in what they’re trying to accomplish.”

    Commits returning

Nebraska commits in running back Conor Booth , defensive lineman Tyson Terry , safety Caden VerMaas and linebacker Pierce Mooberry will all be back on campus to help recruit as well.

Raiola family will be on campus

Buford (Ga.) High 2026 quarterback Dayton Raiola holds an offer from Nebraska and will be back in a recruiting capacity. He is the younger brother of true freshman signal-caller Dylan Raiola.

Raiola took a recruiting visit to Lincoln in the spring and said “felt good being back in Lincoln.” He’s obviously spent a lot of time over the years on campus with his father Dominic being an All-American and Rimington Award winner (given to the best center in college football) for the Huskers and his uncle Donovan serving as the current offensive line coach.

The younger Raiola also threw at Nebraska’s Friday Night Lights camp in June.

“I’m excited to get back to a place that I feel comfortable at especially with the coaching staff and all of the players there,” Dayton said. “Also it’s gonna be good to see my brother again.”

    Elite junior visiting

The On3 Industry’s No. 3 ranked running back Damarius Yates will be in Lincoln. He’s close with current Huskers running back Dante Dowdell. Yates is the No. 31 overall prospect in the On3 rankings.

    More 2026 targets

Des Moines (Iowa) Valley On300 athlete Jayden McGregory was offered by Nebraska in April.

The Huskers offered Denton (Texas) Guyer On300 safety Kaedyn Cobbs in June and now he’s looking forward to checking out Lincoln this weekend.

Brandon (SD) Valley offensive lineman Hudson Parliament is an explosive two-way point of attack player on the prep level the Huskers are pushing hard for. He is one of the top targets on campus regardless of position and grade.

Carthage (Mo.) High edge rusher Landon Bland is a prospect Nebraska has already invested a lot of time in. He made the rounds in June including a stop in Lincoln.

Windsor (Colo.) High 2026 offensive tackle Deacon Schmitt saw his recruitment take off this summer beginning with an offer from Nebraska. Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Kansas State quickly followed.

Nebraska offered Wichita (Kan.) Maize South defensive lineman Hunter Higgins last season and he’s been back for elite junior day in January and the spring game in April.

Nebraska was the second program to offer St. Louis (Mo.) University safety Keenan Harris with Keith Williams long leading the charge for the Huskers.

Manhattan (Kan.) High safety James Dunnigan Jr. received his Nebraska offer after camp in June.

    2027 standouts

Pierre (SD) T.F. Riggs rising sophomore tight end Cooper Terwilliger looks like a special prospect. He’s been on the Huskers radar for awhile including camp in June 2023 and a game in the fall. He was offered over a month ago.

Jenks (Okla.) High 2027 safety Semaj Stanford saw his latest offer come from Nebraska. Like Terwilliger, he has the makings of a national recruit.

    In-state recruits

Omaha (Neb.) Millard South 2026 teammates in tight end Isaac Jensen and receiver DaShawn Prince both have early offers from the Huskers.

Elkhorn (Neb.) North’s Jase Reynolds is a linebacker target that earned an offer in camp in June.

Omaha (Neb.) Millard West 2027 offensive tackle Matt Erickson was offered by Nebraska in June. The Huskers will be hard to beat and the On3 RPM already reflects that.
