Downed wires shuts down Route 28 in Fairfax County
FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. - Downed wires in Fairfax County have shut down Route 28 in both directions at Centreville Road. According to VDOT, drivers are advised to seek alternate routes after downed wires shut down a major roadway in Centreville, Virginia. No word on the cause of the downed wires. There could be potential traffic in the area, more than normal.
Gov. Glenn Youngkin allocates $30M for groundwork to Hampton Roads commerce park
The City of Suffolk got a boost this week as it received $30.1 million from the state to improve roads to a proposed 540-acre industrial commerce park. The Port 460 Logistics Center will be located in Hampton Roads along Route 460 and the Route 58 bypass. The center has access to the entire Norfolk region as well as Interstates 85 and 95.

BALTIMORE- Spotty showers give way to consistent rainfall across the forecast area this Saturday. Overall, we will see less than a 1/2" of rain. It's possible there might be an isolated thunderstorm as well.
