SHELBURNE, Vt. (WCAX) - Some Vermont police agencies are asking the public to keep an eye out for scam calls. Authorities in Shelburne and Orange County say they have received reports about a man claiming to be a police officer trying to convince people over the phone that they had outstanding warrants or that they needed to contact departments about an “urgent legal matter.”
