Beach Park authorities search for missing swimmer in Lake Michigan
A swimmer went missing Saturday night in Lake Michigan in the north suburbs.ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24/7. Lake County man charged with beating pregnant girlfriend, fleeing police
LAKE COUNTY, Ill. - A suburban man has been charged after "repeatedly punching" his pregnant girlfriend Wednesday afternoon in Lake County, officials said. Around 5 p.m., a 43-year-old woman called police to report her daughter's boyfriend, 22-year-old Felix James, Jr., attacked her and her pregnant daughter in the 1900 block of Midday Drive in Zion, according to the Lake County Sheriff's Office.

LAKE COUNTY, Ill. - An Illinois man was arrested this week after an investigation uncovered his alleged involvement in selling fentanyl and other drugs. Alejandro I. Dominguez, 42, of Mundelein, faces four felony counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (Class X), five felony counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (Class 1), one felony count of unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to delver (Class 2) and 10 counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance (Class 4).

A Schaumburg man has been sentenced to 26 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for robbing two cellular phone stores in DuPage County. Man Tampers With Ignition Interlock Device, Gets Arrested
A deputy from the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department responded to Highway 81 in Elk Grove Township for a two-vehicle accident Wednesday around 7:20am. 34 year old Dylan Russell of Darlington was traveling westbound on Highway 81 when his vehicle entered a work area and struck a parked 2004 Dodge. No injuries were reported, and the vehicles were driven from the scene. Russell was arrested for Operating after Revocation and Tampering with Ignition Interlock Device. Russell was taken to the Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and released. Russell was also cited for Inattentive Driving.
