Woman facing super drunk charges for wrong-way crash on I-75
BAY COUNTY, Mich. (WJRT) - A Bay County woman faces super drunk charges in connection with a deadly wrong-way crash that claimed the lives of two men from Genesee County. The crash happened back in March, when investigators say a 41-year-old woman from Pinconning was driving southbound in the northbound lanes of I-75 near Salzburg Road in Monitor Township.

ATV rider injured after crash in Flint intersection
FLINT, Mich. (WJRT) - One person was injured after an ATV and a car crashed in Flint on Tuesday evening. The crash was reported around 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of Dartmouth Street and Forest Hill Avenue. An ATV went through the intersection and hit the side of a car, which had a broken side window.
Kitten rescued by Michigan fire crew after getting head stuck in muffler
HOWELL, Mich. (CBS DETROIT) - A kitten is expected to be OK after it was rescued from a muffler in Howell.A crew with the Howell Area Fire Department received a call Wednesday afternoon about a kitten whose head was stuck in the muffler. The crew slowly removed the muffler. "The kitten was left with needing a good home remedy for those hard to clean ring around the collar stains before heading home. The muffler just needs a little straightening and clamp," the fire department said on social media.The department said the kitten and the muffler are both "in good condition."
Man pleads guilty in mPerks scheme that cost Meijer at least $1M
A Grand Haven man has pleaded guilty to selling Meijer customers’ mPerks account information in a scheme that cost the Michigan-based retailer more than $1 million. Nicholas Mui, 22, pleaded guilty this week to conducting a criminal enterprise and will forfeit about $630,000 in frozen cryptocurrency and cash along with his computer tower. He will be sentenced on Sept. 5 in Kent County.

Police say that 28-year-old D'Margio Izeon Phipps, or "Odie," was last seen at Carriage Town Mission in the 600 block of Garland Street in Flint on July 1. Phipps was last seen wearing jeans and a casual t-shirt.
Woman Critical, Dog Dies After Being Struck by Vehicle in Grand Blanc
A tragic incident occurred Monday afternoon in Grand Blanc when a 64-year-old woman was hit by a car while crossing the road with her dog. The pedestrian crash near the intersection of Grand Blanc Road and Davis Street resulted in the woman suffering major head injuries and her dog's death. According to ABC12, the woman was transported to Hurley Medical Center and remains in critical condition.
