Leading with Heart: York Hospital nears fundraising goal for new cardiac lab
YORK, Maine — York Hospital has raised $4.9 million toward its $6.4 million goal for the Petrovich Peterson Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. "The 'Leading with Heart' campaign is crucial for ensuring our community has access to the best cardiac care possible," said York Hospital President Dr. Patrick Taylor. The Boothbay 36ers are heading to the American Legion Baseball State Championship tournament. Two wins in the southern zone tournament action over Central Maine Hammond Lumber and Capital Area this weekend led to their finish as one of two southern zone teams qualifying for the state tournament. On July 22, Boothbay plays Skowhegan (8-6) at 5:30 p.m. in the southern zone championship game at Thomas College in Waterville. Both teams earned spots in next weekend’s state championship tournament.
