LISBON, ND ( KXNET ) — One man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning in Lisbon.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a semi-truck towing a trailer was heading north on Highway 32 and turning right onto Jackson Avenue.

A 66-year-old Lisbon man, driving a motor scooter behind the semi, tried to pass the vehicle also on the right, ran into the passenger side tires of the truck and was then hit by the trailer.

The Lisbon man died at the scene.

The 63-year-old Bismarck driver of the semi was not injured in the crash.

The incident remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
