WEATHERSFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) — Police responded to a Weatherfield home Monday morning after a man reported finding a gun on the side of the road. A man told police that he was driving on Salt Springs Road near Meridian Road when he saw something that looked like a gun lying on the side of the road and pulled over to check it out. The man told police that the gun didn’t have a magazine but was loaded with a 9mm bullet, which he made safe before returning to his home and calling police, reports state.
