KSP: Woman caught trafficking in meth, fentanyl in Hazard
A woman who was formerly convicted on a drug trafficking charge in Perry was arrested recently after allegedly being found trafficking in methamphetamine and fentanyl. According to an arrest citation written by Kentucky State Police Drug Enforcement and Special Investigations East Branch Trooper Matthew Day, on Oct. 22, he located a vehicle belonging to Shaina Maggard, 37, of Rose Lane, Richmond, formerly of Hazard.
PCSD: Perry man fled from, endangered officers
A Perry County man was arrested on several charges after an incident in which he alleged fled from officers on a side-by-side. According to an arrest citation written by Perry County Sheriff's Deputy Marcus Prater, on Oct. 20, he was responding to a domestic dispute at Whitaker Hollow on which the Hazard Police Department was assisting.
