Flyers trap team put up great numbers at State tournament

The Little Falls Flyers trap team achieved multiple accomplishments at the 2024 state tournament in Alexandria Monday, June 17. The JV team finished in fourth place and varsity came in 14th.

Ten Flyers earned perfect scores of 25 in a round. This includes Baylor Backowski and Devyn Bollig, Jackson Moshier and Mitchell Statema. Those who scored 25 in two rounds were Landen Brausen, Marshall Kathrein and Lunday Nornberg.

Some of the Flyers’ highest scorers at the end of the tournament were Brausen (97), Nornberg (96) and Chloe Wright (81). Wright had one of the top five scores for girls. Alex Lang placed second as an individual for the novice team.
