Little Falls beats Sauks Rapids; struggles against Cold Spring

The Little Falls VFW baseball team played a double header against Sauk Rapids Wednesday, June 26. Little Falls won the first game 12-3. The hard hitters with a double were John Ahlin, Landon Lashinski and Ben Anderson. Prescott Prescott Romaine hit a triple.

Little Falls 8-7. Connor Neu was the winning pitcher, throwing three strikeouts in three innings. Nolan Sams had went 1-2 with a double.

Little Falls played a double header against Cold Spring Monday, June 24. The first game went to Cold Spring, upsetting Little Falls 8-2. Ahlin pitched over two innings, with no strikeouts and allowed three hits. Ben Anderson went 1-3 at the plate with a double.

Cold Spring also won the second game 6-3. Nolan Sams pitched one inning, throwing one strikeout and allowed six walks. Charles Zwilling pitched four innings, allowing one walk and threw three strikeouts. Anderson went 1-4 at the plate, hitting a double while Connor Posterick went 2-3.
