Below are summaries of incidents responded to by the Little Falls Police Department through June 25, 2024.
Tuesday, June 18
• 2:27 a.m. Officers located a tree blocking Sixth Street NE that was felled by high winds. Street department notified.
• 7:53 a.m. Officers cleared a building at 400 Fifth Street NE prior to the building being demolished.
Wednesday, June 19
• 12:30 p.m. Assisted the sheriff’s office with a traffic stop on Have Road at 133rd Street, Little Falls.
• 8:09 p.m. A possible domestic assault was reported on Riverwood Drive.
• 9:08 p.m. Received a complaint that on the north side of town someone was walking through yards and throwing trash. Officers located suspect and issued a warning.
• 9:10 p.m. Received a report of a suspicious duo along the road on 14th Street SW. Officer located suspects. They were searching for agates.
Thursday, June 20
• 10:38 a.m. A theft was reported in the 1100 block of Second Avenue NE.
• 4:34 p.m. A theft was reported in the 100 block of Lemieur Street.
• 4:38 p.m. Responded to a two-vehicle accident on Fourth Street NE at First Avenue NE. No injuries reported.
Friday, June 21
• 11:21 a.m. Received a report of a male sleeping on a hill in the 1200 block of 11th Street NE. Officers made contact with the suspect and asked him to leave the property.
• 5:44 p.m. Assisted the State Patrol with a reported crash on Highway 371 at 193rd Street.
• 11 p.m. A small bag containing a crystalline substance was located on First Avenue NE. The baggy was collected and contents disposed of.
Saturday, June 22
• 1:24 a.m. Responded to a report of an assault was reported in the 100 block of First Street SE. A victim suffered a head injury.
• 1:50 a.m. Responded to a report of a physical altercation in the 100 block of First Street SE.
• 8:59 p.m. A theft was reported in the 400 block First Avenue SE.
• 9:02 p.m. Responded to a report of an assault in the “pits” area of the Morrison County Fairgrounds.
• 10:20 p.m. Officers responded to a report of someone shining lights through the window of a residence in the 1000 block of Seventh Street NE.
• 10:32 p.m. Responded to a report of a domestic dispute in thew 200 block of Fourth Street SW.
• 10:38 p.m. Took a report of juveeniles shooting people with airsoft gun on Hawthorn Avenue.
Sunday, June 23
• 10:36 a.m. A theft was reported in the 600 block of Third Street NW.
Monday, June 24
• 5:54 p.m. Received a report of a potential injured Bald Eagle near the Pike Creek Boat Landing. Bird was observed by officers but flew away, apparently fine.
Tuesday, June 25
• 10:56 a.m. Responded to an assault in the 15000 block of 18th Avenue NE, Little Falls. A 27-year-old male was cited for 5th degree assault.
