"We ended up beating two teams that had previously defeated us in the playoffs and taking the championship," Fifth and Sixth grade coach Rich Appaluccio said. "It's always special to win against your rivals. I’m incredibly proud of these kids."

"This is bittersweet for me," Seventh and Eighth grade Coach Newman said. "It's my last year of coaching, and I want to thank my coaches and the players for their hard work. It’s an honor to bring home the championship."

The 10U Travel Team, coached by Derek Daimiano, was celebrated for their undefeated season. Daimiano shared his joy and pride, saying, "I've been coaching this group since they were eight, and to see them go undefeated this spring was an incredible experience. Our mantra this season was ‘one more,’ and they embraced it in every game and every play. We have a playoff game tomorrow [July 23] night, and I couldn't be more proud of these kids."
