Savannah Czornomor Achievements on Softball Field, in Classroom Recognized by Little Falls Officials

LITTLE FALLS, NJ - The Township of Little Falls honored one of its own, Savannah Czornomor, a standout student-athlete and recent graduate from Passaic County Technical Institute (PCTI).

Czornomor, a Little Falls resident, will be attending Wagner College on a full scholarship. Known for her exceptional prowess on the softball field, Savannah's accolades during her four years at PCTI are nothing short of impressive. As a four-year varsity starter, she consistently earned First Team All-County and All-League honors, excelling at three different positions.

PCTI head coach Mike Borman praised her as the best, most skilled player in the Bulldogs program in 24 years. Her statistics speak volumes: a .585 batting average, a 1.662 on-base percentage, and a 1.07 slugging percentage. Savannah also set two school records at PCTI for most career hits and most home runs.

In addition to her athletic prowess, Savannah earned several scholarships and awards, including the PTSO Award and a recent honor from the OJ Anderson Foundation. She was also a ranking member of the NJ ROTC for four years, exemplifying leadership and dedication.

Savannah’s excellence extended beyond the field. She was a model student, consistently making the Principal's Honor Roll and graduating with a stellar 4.07 GPA.

"Her journey from PCTI to Wagner College is a testament to her hard work, talent, and dedication," Mayor James Damiano said. "As Savannah steps into this new chapter, Little Falls wishes her all the best and looks forward to seeing her continue to shine."
