TEMPLE, Texas — 87-year-old Temple father Jim Lundbeck is completing the trip of a lifetime with his daughter, Kelly Brooks. The two are taking part in RAGBRAI (Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa), an annual bicycle ride across the state of Iowa. This year, the route is over 425 miles. Riders started their journey on July 21, and it will end July 27.

Dr. Daniel Dvoskin, a pediatric physician, opened Jolly Giant Pediatrics about seven months ago in Taylor, Texas, which is about 35 miles outside of Austin. Driver dies after police chase ends in crash in Killeen
KILLEEN, Texas — A police chase in Killeen ended in tragedy Wednesday night when the driver crashed and was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers initiated a traffic stop near E Stan Schlueter Loop and E Elms Road at approximately 9:47 p.m. on July 24, 2024, for a traffic violation involving a Chevrolet Cruze. The driver, identified as 25-year-old Carlos Joseph Christian, refused to stop, leading officers on a pursuit, according to the Killeen Police Department.
