LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A global tech outage impacted multiple places in Little Rock, including Clinton National Airport.
Travelers at the airport experienced delayed and canceled flights, inconveniencing many like Macey Green.
“We were supposed to be leaving around noon, so we’ve been here since about 10 o’clock,” Green said.

“Well hopefully I’ll be leaving Sunday, but we’ll see what goes on,” Climons said.
Clinton National Airport Public Affairs Director Shane Carter said what started with three delayed flights has now turned into 30 along with six cancellations. He said other parts of the airport were affected as well.
“We did not have any food service as the computer systems for the restaurants here in the airport were down,” Carter said.
In Jacksonville, Jordan Cooper, the owner of Cooper Family Dentistry, said he had to cancel about 30 appointments on Friday.
“We have 30 computers in this clinic and 23 were down,” Cooper said.
A faulty software update causes havoc worldwide for airlines, hospitals and governments He said an IT technician has been working in the building and everything should be up and running by Monday.
“We just hope that there’s not a lot of interruptions going forward,” Cooper said.
Officials with cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike said the outage was caused by a software update issued by the company, impacting only their customers running Microsoft Windows.
