After regulation and two halves of extra time, the Southern Conference semifinals between the Little Rock Rangers and Corpus Christi FC Sharks came down to penalty kicks.

Tie game at one apiece, both squads made four consecutive penalties until the fifth set. After Little Rock conceded for a fifth time, Daniel Burko’s penalty was then blocked by the Sharks goalkeeper, ending the match and the Rangers season. Corpus Christi FC won 5-4 on penalty kicks, advancing the Sharks to their first ever Southern Conference final.

Rangers end the 2024 season just one game shy of back-to-back appearances in the Southern Conference final. The Stags went unbeaten in the regular season at 9-0-3 and captured the club’s first-ever Mid-South Division title.
