Live Oak Fire Department responds to structure fire
Danny Federico reporter3.riverbendnews@gmail.com At approximately 5:32 a.m. on Sunday, June 30, the Live Oak Fire Department (LOFD) was dispatched to the 400 block of Southwest Walker Avenue in response to reports of a structure fire. The LOFD reported Engine 2 and Ladder 1 responded swiftly to the scene, discovering a single-family residential house with 25 percent involvement in flames. Firefighters promptly stretched two attack lines and initiated primary and secondary searches. The operation was supported by Suwannee County Fire Rescue, whose mutual aid proved invaluable in managing the situation. LOFD reported that there were no injuries as a result of the fire.
